Daniel Mpehla, trading as GasTrack, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website and the Founding Engineer early-access programme. GasTrack is currently in development; joining early access does not create an application account or require payment.
Information collected
When you join early access, the form may collect:
- Your first name and optional last name.
- Your email address and optional mobile number.
- Your engineer or business type and stated Gas Safe registration status.
- Your primary product interest and optional feedback about problems you want GasTrack to solve.
- Your choices about early-access and optional marketing communications.
- Campaign source, medium, campaign, content, referral code, referring page and landing path.
- Basic interaction events used to understand whether the early-access journey is working.
Why the information is used
- To administer the Founding Engineer and private-beta programme.
- To contact applicants about testing places and relevant early-access updates.
- To respond to feedback and decide which product problems to prioritise.
- To measure which outreach channels lead to genuine early-access interest.
- To send optional product news and marketing only where the separate marketing choice was selected.
- To protect the form against duplicate submissions, misuse and spam.
Choices and lawful basis
Early-access communications are sent on the basis of the choice made when joining the programme. Optional marketing is controlled by a separate choice and is not required to join early access. You can withdraw either choice at any time by emailing admin@gastrackapp.co.uk.
Service providers and sharing
Information may be processed by service providers used to host, secure and operate the website and early-access database. GasTrack does not sell early-access contact information. Information will not be shared with merchants, advertisers or other partners for their own marketing without a separate, clear basis and notice.
How long information is kept
Early-access information will be kept while the programme is active and reviewed when the programme ends. It will then be deleted or anonymised unless the person becomes a GasTrack user, asks to remain subscribed to product communications, or a limited record is required to respect a withdrawal or opt-out request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, consent can be withdrawn. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Automated decisions
Early-access registration information is not used to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
