Privacy Policy

Daniel Mpehla, trading as GasTrack, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website and the historical Founding Engineer early-access programme. The GasTrack engineer application is an existing product; the former early-access signup is separate from application account registration.

Information collected

When you join early access, the form may collect:

• Your first name and optional last name.
• Your email address, the Google Account email you use for Google Play closed testing, and optional mobile number.
• Your engineer or business type and stated Gas Safe registration status.
• Your primary product interest and optional feedback about problems you want GasTrack to solve.
• Your choices about early-access and optional marketing communications.
• Campaign source, medium, campaign, content, referral code, referring page and landing path.
• Basic interaction events used to understand whether the early-access journey is working.

Why the information is used

• To administer the Founding Engineer and private-beta programme.
• To contact applicants about testing places and relevant early-access updates.
• To respond to feedback and decide which product problems to prioritise.
• To measure which outreach channels lead to genuine early-access interest.
• To send optional product news and marketing only where the separate marketing choice was selected.
• To protect the form against duplicate submissions, misuse and spam.

Choices and lawful basis

Early-access communications are sent on the basis of the choice made when joining the programme. Optional marketing is controlled by a separate choice and is not required to join early access. You can withdraw either choice at any time by emailing admin@gastrackapp.co.uk.

Service providers and sharing

Information may be processed by service providers used to host, secure and operate the website and early-access database. GasTrack does not sell early-access contact information. Information will not be shared with merchants, advertisers or other partners for their own marketing without a separate, clear basis and notice.

How long information is kept

Early-access information will be kept while the programme is active and reviewed when the programme ends. It will then be deleted or anonymised unless the person becomes a GasTrack user, asks to remain subscribed to product communications, or a limited record is required to respect a withdrawal or opt-out request.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, consent can be withdrawn. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Automated decisions

Early-access registration information is not used to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no analytics cookies unless you accept them. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FSNHNKWF0V) stores first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_G-FSNHNKWF0V on your device. They let us count visits and page changes, see which traffic sources bring people to the website, and see whether the Google Play download links are opened. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain disabled, so this measurement is not used to advertise to you.

Analytics is used on the basis of your consent. You choose when the cookie notice appears, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the button below, which is also available as “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Rejecting analytics does not limit your use of this website. No registration, trial, subscription or early-access conversion events are recorded in Google Analytics.
