What each classification means.
Immediately Dangerous
A fault that poses an immediate threat to life or property. The appliance is disconnected, made safe and must not be used.
At Risk
A fault that could become a danger. The appliance may remain in use with a warning, but must be rectified promptly.
Not to Current Standard
The installation falls short of current standards but presents no danger. Advise the customer and record the finding.
No AR/ID classification identified
No unsafe classification identified from the assessed criteria. Record the outcome and findings — this is not a certification of the installation.
